He has written both instrumental music, symphonies and concertos for chamber orchestra. In additon, he teaches composition&nbsp; at the Estonian Academy of Music and among his many students there were Erkki-Sven Tüür who is now one of the most acknowledged Estonian composers himself. Vigorous rhythmic pulse is the basic element of Rääts's music in which the various stylistic fragments revolve as if in a drum mixer: Mozartian triads and modernist clusters, baroque and folk music motifs, linear polyphony and pop music rhythms. He says: "I don’t like rigid systems. I like absorbing musical material, filtering it, emotionally developing it as needed. Using it as a springboard for my imagination..."<BR></P><P align=justify>The festival L'Europe en Musique will be held from 23 to 27 April 2014 at Brussels Music Instrument Museum. The density of designers is very high - Estonia has one designer per 800 residents and the country’s design courses are quite famous. However, hardly anyone is aware that James Bond’s legendary miniature Minox Spy Camera, Skype and TransferWise were developed by Estonians. This country with barely 1.3 million residents has its own satellite and possesses great expertise in the area of electronics. Estonia is renowned for its eGovernment, eElections, eParking and it is even possible to order a Christmas tree online there.</P><P align=justify>The exhibition will present the products of more than 50 contemporary Estonian designers ranging from jewellery to fastest folding electric scooters and everything that is in-between. Since 2008, from the age of 21, he has already been showing his works in several galleries in Estonia and internationally in Georgia, Greece, &nbsp;Germany &nbsp;and now in Belgium. Last year, he was awared the prize of Young Painter at the Contemporary Art Center in Vilnius, Lithuania. Mihkel’s works are colorful and eclectic. The action inspired people in many different countries to do the same. Thus, the network of people, determined to organize massive cleanup actions to clean their home countries, started to grow. By today, more than 100 different inspired cleanup actions engaging altogether more than 5 million volunteers, have already taken place in different countries.<BR><BR></P><P align=justify><EM>Let’s Do It! Belgium</EM> launches its third national campaign against trash and waste and will once again try to mobilise as many volunteers as possible during March-May. This event is not only a part of the ongoing international <EM>Let's Do It!
