President of the Republic of Serbia Boris Tadić will be in Estonia for an official visit from 13-14 September. This will be the Serbian president’s first visit to Estonia.
During his visit, Serbian President Tadić will meet with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Riigikogu Speaker Ene Ergma, Prime Minister Andrus Ansip, and Foreign Minister Urmas Paet. The Serbian president will also visit Skype and become acquainted with Tallinn’s Old Town.
Estonia-Serbia bilateral relations will be discussed at the meetings. Another topic to be discussed is Serbia’s progress towards the European Union. Other subjects to be addressed are the situation in Kosovo and the Western Balkans and matters related to energy security.
